Bomb joke held the Scots back

As some of you may have noticed the Scots didn’t show up at yesterday’s opening ceremony. They were held back at Kastrup Airport, because of a bomb joke.

Due to all the recent terror attacks around the world, the police took the joke very seriously and closed off the whole terminal 3. The guys carrying the suitcases were told to leave their suitcases behind, and the police quickly escorted the two men to terminal 2 where they were questioned. The suitcases suspected of containing a bomb, were checked and announced clear of any explosives.

We interviewed one of the Scottish students about their experience at the airport.

“We had no idea what was going on at the time. It was first until one of my friends googled it, that we found out what the commotion was about.” Emma Wright, Commission on the status of women Rights, Republic of Turkey.

The Scotts were stuck at the airport for hours on end but are now with us at this year’s EGMUN 2015.
